Mountains feel alien, not because they are weird in any way, but because their beauty can never really be captured by our cameras, only by the eyes we hold on our heads. With their versatile shapes and sizes, the assortment of colors and terrains, all of this made me feel on top of the world as my hands slowly press a button on a simple camera. Mountains amplify how beautiful nature is, throwing to light various things we have never stopped to take a look and admire.

A photograph clicked while taking a stroll in a park, giving you a sudden feeling of serenity and tranquility. The free spirit of the leaves makes it feel as if they’re growing like they are a part of the sky. Its quirks and imperfections are what make it unique and eye-catching. The leaves also inspire me, by leaving the thought that there’s still hope in every aspect.

This is a picture of the infamous Space Needle, situated in Seattle, a city in the State of Washington. I was astounded by its exquisite architecture and design and went on to photograph it on my vacation there six months ago. As you can see, it was a cloudy morning that day and the view of the icon of Washington made the day so much better.

The horizon was breathtaking; The sky merged with the water, separated only by the golden lights that shone brightly despite the darkness all around. Every time I think of heaven this place is what I imagine: The epitome of paradise.

The Rock Garden waterfall in the hills of Darjeeling, West Bengal. The frothy water has an aura of peace and prosperity around it as it rushes down the rocks.

“Hold fast to these dreams, for if dreams fie, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.”

Beauty is present everywhere in our daily travels. To experience it, you must pay attention and notice it. I see beauty in sunsets, hear it in the chirping of birds, and smell it in the delicious aroma of food. I find beauty in the littlest things around me and it has always evoked a feeling of ‘awe’ within me.
